Elena Nentcheva AIA, nickname Elcho, is an artist and licensed architect in Illinois with eight years of professional experience in furniture, interior, and architectural design. After graduating from Pennsylvania State University in 2016 with a 5 year professional degree in Architecture and a Bachelor of Art specializing in sculpture, she spent her four years living and working internationally. Elena has worked with firms in Germany, Japan, Australia and the United States on projects spanning all scales and industries. 

Elena sees architecture and interior design as an opportunity to connect with nature, and contribute to a healthier planet and stronger community. She strives to create spaces that breathe life, inspire change, and foster community bonds.

Elena started Studio Elcho LLC as an art and interior design consultancy specializing in small scale commercial and residential projects. Along with interior design, her vision extends to product design through nature inspired art, surface patterns, jewelry and repurposed furniture.
